When Denver finally shakes off the cold and snow, they celebrate the coming of summer with some spectacular summer festivals and outdoor concerts.

City Park Jazz

Who doesn’t love a little bit of Jazz on a warm summer evening? If you’re in Denver, you can enjoy the soothing sound of Jazz in the City Park Jazz series, which will allow fans to bring a blanket and folding chair and watch some of Denver’s best local Jazz bands and musicians do their thing. It’s free, and it will be a treat on a nice summer night in the Mile High City.
Summer Concerts at Elitch Gardens

Rollercoasters and waterslides are not the only activities that are in the offering at Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park. Denver’s downtown fun zone will also play host to the Summer Concert Series which will feature great artists and bands and will provide a nice alternative to the high-speed thrills that carpet’s the park. The best part of it all? It’s free with your park admission.
Denver Burger Battle

This will be the summer of the burger in Denver. The Denver Burger Battle will pit some of the best restaurant burgers against each other to see who has Denver’s best burger. The burgers are quite creative, and it will make you hungry, but in the end, this event will be a ton of fun for the entire family.
27th Annual Rocky Mountain Folk Festival

If you want to go to a great folk festival, Lyons is the place to be. Now in its 27th year, the Rocky Mountain Folk Festival is a weekend-long tribute to the great sounds of folk music. With both national and local up-and-coming acts taking the stage in Lyons, you’ll not want to miss one of the best folk festivals in America.
