Listen: Future teams up with The Weeknd and Rihanna on ‘HNDRXX’

Hip-hop star Future released his new album, HNDRXX, on Feb. 24. Highlights on the record include his collaborations with The Weeknd and Rihanna.
Only one week after dropping his self-titled album, Future followed it up with his next record, HNDRXX. Among the 17 new tracks, the only guest stars are The Weeknd on "Comin’ Out Strong" and Rihanna on "Selfish." Those also happen to be two of the best tracks on Future’s latest release.
Future and The Weeknd work together often. The Weeknd was featured on Future’s "Low Life" last year and Future returned the favor on "All I Know" from Starboy. The two team up once again on "Comin’ Out Strong," a swaggering trap cut. "They said I couldn’t reach Mars so I turned to a star," The Weeknd sings. Concerning the media glare, Future adds, "It’s hard to tell the real stories from the fake ones ’cause nowadays if they don’t got it, they’ll make one." Both definitely come out strong on this boastful banger. (Listen up top.)
Future and Rihanna first collaborated on "Loveeeeeee Song" from 2012’s Unapologetic and the two work together again on "Selfish." A soulful Rihanna sings about rekindling a rocky romance. "Let’s not be alone/Let’s be selfish, baby, tonight," she croons with Future. Atmospheric production with hip-hop beats and celestial synths back both artists. Surprisingly, "Selfish" is Future’s most pop-leaning offering. With Rihanna in the mix, it’s pretty magical. (Listen below.)
"Comin’ Out Strong" and "Selfish" are now available on iTunes and Apple Music. Future became the first artist in the history of Billboard to debut at No. 1 in consecutive weeks when HNDRXX hit the top spot a week after his self-titled album.
